Created with the specific needs of artists and illustrators in mind, CARAN D'ACHE's Grafwood Pencils are premium quality graphite pencils offered in a range of lead grades. Each pencil is varnished in a colour that precisely depicts the hardness and depth of the black.
This set consists of the following lead grades:
- 4H - 2H: Extra-fine graphite pencils for intense, regular, fine and extra fine lines (technical drawing, scientific illustration)
- H - 2B: Extra-fine graphite pencils for hatching and superimposing
- 3B - 9B: Extra fine graphite pencils to allow uniform shading of large areas and a regular, intense stroke
